Here are some of the major worldwide tournaments in badminton:

1.      Olympics Games - held every four years

2.     World Championships - held annually (except in Olympic years)

3.     Thomas Cup (men's team championship) - held biennially

4.     Uber Cup (women's team championship) - held biennially

5.     Sudirman Cup (mixed team championship) - held biennially

6.  BWF World Tour Finals - held annually, featuring the top eight singles players and doubles pairs in the world rankings.

7.  BWF World Tour Super 1000 - one of the highest levels of badminton tournaments, held annually in three different countries.

8.    BWF World Tour Super 750 - held annually in five different countries.

9.    BWF World Tour Super 500 - held annually in six different countries.

10.  BWF World Tour Super 300 - held annually in seven different countries.
